Using the IBM Content Manager Wizard
Reveille for Content Manager creates operational Monitors for the IBM Content Manager document management interfaces and work-flow processes. The Reveille for IBM Content Manager Wizard creates proactive, real-time application monitoring and service-level metrics reporting for Content Manager-based content management applications.
Note: Contact Reveille Support to review current IBM Content Manager prerequisites before using the IBM Content Manager wizard.
Welcome Page
The Welcome page of the IBM Content Manager Wizard is the standard Reveille screen. No data entry is required on this screen.
Click Next to begin using the Wizard.
Select IBM Content Manager Component Page
The Select IBM Content Manager Component page enables the selection of the IBM Content Manager component to Monitor. These include the following:
- IBM Content Manager Production Client API Interface. Verifies IBM Content Manager production client API interfaces for document indexing, storing, retrieval and deletion. Verifies IBM Content Manager document routing for worklists, worknodes, and workpackages.
- IBM Content Manager Web Services. Verifies IBM Content Manager web services interfaces for document indexing, storing, retrieval and deletion. Verifies IBM Content Manager document routing for worklists, worknodes, and workpackages.
- IBM Content Manager eClient. Verifies IBM Content Manager eClient interfaces for browser-based user access for folder lists and document retrieval.
Click Next. The IBM Content Manager Credentials and Server Values page appears.

The IBM Content Manager Credentials and Server Values page requires entry of specific environment information for Content Manager. This includes the following:
- User credentials to log in to Content Manager.
- Database Information for the Library Server.
- Content Manager System names for the Library Server.
- Additional Web Services or eClient setup information (if required).
Click Next. The IBM Content Manager Configuration Information page appears.
IBM Content Manager Configuration Information Page
The IBM Content Manager Configuration Information page is for File information such as the file name of the exported IBM Content Manager XSD source document containing the IBM Content Manager data model and the file name/type to be used for storing a document object. The data model should be exported from IBM Content Manager system using the IBM Content Manager Administrative Client.
Click Next. The IBM Content Manager Items for Folder and Document page appears.

The IBM Content Manager Items for Folder and Document page displays the data model information from the XSD file and enables the choosing of the Document and Folder items to be used during monitor creation.
Click Next. The Folder Attributes page appears.
Folder Attributes Page
The Folder Attributes page displays the selected Folder attributes and enables default values to be entered for each of the attributes.
Click Next. The Document Attributes page appears.
Document Attributes Page
The Document Attributes page displays the selected Document attributes and allows default values to be entered for each of the attributes.
Click Next. The Search Values page appears.
Search Values Page
The Search Values page enables the selection of default attributes and values for performing searches for a Folder or Document and the opportunity to enter names for Work-flow items such as Process, Work List, and Work Package names.
Click Next. The Create Monitor for IBM Content Manager page appears.
Create Monitor for IBM Content Manager Page
The Create Monitor for IBM Content Manager page is for creating the IBM Content Manager Monitor Tests. After a choice is made for the Test type, the buttons at the bottom can be used to run the Test or create a Test in the Monitor. A third option is for saving an XML configuration file containing all of the selections, but not to generate a Test for the Monitor.
Click Next. The Monitor Completion page appears.
Completion Page
The Monitor Completion page requires no data entry. Click Finish to complete the wizard.
