Captiva Capture Process Exceptions Component

The Captiva Capture Process Exceptions component enables you to test for Captiva Capture Process exceptions.

Test Captiva Process Exceptions

Settings Page

Select what to test. Select the type of capture process Test:

  • Check batches with priority 0
  • Check batches with locks
  • Check batches in error status
  • Check batches in hold status
  • Check hung batch count

Depending on the Test selection, complete the following input:

Apply to All Process/Modules. Select to have the same test criteria used for all processes or modules.

Credentials. Enter the authentication information for the target computer. The Windows account should have administrator login rights to Captiva.

Captiva Server Name. Enter the Host Name or IP Address of the Captiva Server.

Process Level Only. Ignore the use of batch priority filtering.

Set Value. Set filtering criteria for a specific Captiva process, department, module or machine/module combination.

Show All Processes. Show all processes with or without batches or tasks.

Refresh.: Click to query the Captiva Server to populate the settings list box.

Threshold. Enter the appropriate threshold value.

Test Definition Page

Web Server Performing Test. The name of the Web Server executing the Test.

Resource Name. The name of the Monitor Resource associated with the Test.

Test Description. Text automatically generated from your selections.

Expected Response. The expected response for this Test. (Limited to 255 characters.)

Turn On Debug Messages. Enable to generate debug level messages during Test execution.

Output Metric(s). (Optional) Select a Metric to evaluate and track Test results.

Run the Test. Add the Test. Adjust the Time Out value if needed. Click Next.
