Captiva Capture Clients Component

The Captiva Capture Client component enables you to test for Captiva Capture client availability.

Test Captiva Clients

Settings Page

Select what to test. Select the type of capture client Test:

• Check Captiva Capture Web Client
• Check Captiva Capture REST Interface Access

Depending on the Test selection, complete the following input:

Captiva Server. Enter the Host Name or IP Address of the Captiva Server.

Port. Enter the Port number of the Web URL.

Path. Optionally enter the Path of the Web Site virtual folder if they are not the defaults. The Captiva Capture Client default path is cp-cwc. The Captiva Capture TEST interface default context is cp-rest.

Credentials. Enter the authentication information for the target computer. The Windows account should have local administrator rights on the target computer.

Use SSL. Select SSL if HTTPS Web URL.

Test Definition Page

Web Server Performing Test. The name of the Web Server executing the Test.

Resource Name. The name of the Monitor Resource associated with the Test.

Test Description. Text automatically generated from your selections.

Expected Response. The expected response for this Test. (Limited to 255 characters.)

Turn On Debug Messages. Enable to generate debug level messages during Test execution.

Run the Test. Add the Test. Adjust the Time Out value if needed. Click Next.

This is the end of the Test. Choose to add another Test or end the Captiva Capture Client section of the Wizard.
