Accelerated Content Server (ACS) (Documentum D6/xCP) Component

The Accelerated Content Server (ACS) is a lightweight server that handles read and write content operations for EMC Documentum web-based client applications.

The first page of the ACS Wizard asks you to select one of the options below:  

• Test ACS Status
• Test ACS JMX Agent

Test ACS Status

Settings Page

Web Server Performing Test. The name of the Web server that will perform this Test.

ACS Status URL. Enter or select the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the Accelerated Content Server (ACS) Status web page for this test.

Test Definition Page

Resource Name. The name of the Monitor Resource associated with the Test.

Test Description. Text automatically generated from your selections.

Expected Response. The expected response for this Test. Limited to 255 characters.

Run the Test. Add the Test. Adjust the Timeout value if needed. Click Next.

Next Steps Page

This is the end of the Test ACS Status Wizard. Choose to add another Test or end the Accelerated Content Wizard.

Test ACS JMX Agent

Web Server Performing Test. The name of the Web server that will perform this Test.

Java Proxy Server. Enter the address of the Java Proxy Server for the Test.  This should be a server name followed by a port number. For example: JavaServer1.mycompany.com:4444

JMX Agent Service URL. Enter the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the JMX Agent Service for the Test. For example: service:jmx:rmi:///jndi/rmi://d6host:9080/indexagent

Login Information

User Name. The name to use for the credentials.

Password. The password to use for the credentials.

Confirm Password. Re-enter the password for confirmation.

Click Test to test to connection. Click Next.

Select MBean Page

Select one of the available Mbeans. Click Next.

MBean Details Page

This page provides detail information on the selected bean, including methods, attributes and values.

Click Next.
