Branch Office Caching Services (BOCS) (Documentum D6/xCP) Component

The Branch Office Caching Services (BOCS) component provides fast content access for customers in geographically distributed environments.

Settings Page

Settings

Web Server Performing Test. The name of the Web server that will perform this Test.

Java Proxy Server. Enter the address of the Java Proxy Server for the Test.  This should be a server name followed by a port number. For example:  JavaServer1.mycompany.com:4444

JMX Agent Service URL. Enter the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the JMX Agent Service for the Test. For example: service:jmx:rmi:///jndi/rmi://d6host:9080/indexagent

Login Information

Domain. (Optional) The name of the domain to use for the credentials.

User Name. The name to use for the credentials.

Password. The password to use for the credentials.

Confirm Password. Re-enter the password for confirmation.

Select MBean Page

Select an MBean to work with and click Next. 

MBean Details Page

This page presents detailed information on the selected MBean. Choose a method or attribute of the MBean. Look in the Expression pane for the Test parameter. Click Next.

Test Definition Page

Run the Test. Add the Test. Adjust the Timeout value if needed. Click Next.

Next Steps Page

Choose to add another Test or end the Branch Office Caching Services (BOCS) Wizard.
