Content Transformation Services (CTS) (Documentum D6/xCP) Component

The Content Transformation Services (CTS) component provides transformations and analysis on repository content.

Settings Page

Select what to test. Select the type of Content Transformation Services (CTS) Test:

• Test CTS Total Task Count
• Test CTS Queued Task Count
• Test CTS Services
• Test CTS Profiles Availability
• Test CTS Rendition Processing
• Test CTS Server Status

Depending on the Test selection, complete the following input:

Note: Refer to the Documentum D6/xCP documentation for more information.

Computer Name. Enter the name of the computer running the services.

Content Server. Enter or select the Documentum Content Server for this Test. This should be a server name followed by a port number. For example: dfserver1.mycompany.com:1489

Credentials.Enter the authentication information for TaskSpace.

CTS Web Services Server. Host Name and port number of CTS transformation web services server.

DFS Server. Host Name and port number of DFS server.

File. The full path name of the repository document.

Profile. Enter or select the transformation profile. The default is document_to_pdf.

Repository. Enter or select the name of the Repository for this Test. If there are multiple servers for a repository, you can be specific about the server you want to connect to.

• Requesting a server on a specific host: To connect to a Documentum server that resides on a specific host machine, specify the repository as: repository@host_name.
• Requesting a server by name on a specific host: To connect to a specific Documentum server that resides on a specific host machine, specify the repository as: repository.documentum_server_name@host_name

Response. Case sensitive expected Test response.

Service Names. Enter the Windows Service Name for the desired Windows Service. (Default values are pre-filled.)

Source Type. Enter or select the object source type.

Target Type.: Enter or select the object target type.

URL. Enter the URL of the CTS Server.

Use SSL. Select if using SSL protocol (https).

Click Next.

Test Definition Page

Resource Name. The name of the Monitor Resource associated with the Test.

Test Description. Text automatically generated from your selections.

Expected Response. The expected response for this Test. Limited to 255 characters.

Run the Test. Add the Test. Adjust the Timeout value if needed. Click Next.

Choose to add another Test or end the Content Transformation Services Wizard.
