IBM FileNet P8 Platform Component

The IBM FileNet P8 Platform component enables you to test the IBM FileNet P8 Platform health.

Test Platform

Settings Page

Select what to test.  Select the type of platform Test:

• Check FileNet Content Engine Ping
• Check FileNet Content Engine Web Service Instance
• Check FileNet Process Engine Ping
• Check FileNet Process Engine Web Service Instance
• Check FileNet Application Engine Health
• Check LDAP Directory
• Check FileNet Administrative Login
• Check FileNet Index Job Pending Count
• Check FileNet Index Job Processing Count
• Check FileNet Index Job Terminated Count
• Check FileNet Object Store Content Element Count

Depending on the Test selection, complete the following input:

Column Name. Database column name.

Column Data Type. Database column data type – numeric or string.

Column Test. VB .Net expression used for threshold evaluation.

Computer Name. Enter the host name and port number of the target computer.

Credentials. Enter the authentication information for the target computer application.

Maximum Rows. The maximum number of rows returned by the Content Engine query. Default is 0 for unlimited rows.

Object Store. The object store name.

Query. Content Engine SQL query to execute against an object store.

Response. Case sensitive expected Test response.

Storage Area. Content storage area for objects.

Time Span. Maximum time period for the query results. Default is the previous 90 minutes.

LDAP URL. URL of the target LDAP server and port.

URL. URL of the Content Engine Web Services (CEWS) Message Transmission Optimization Mechanism (MTOM) endpoint (FNCEWS40MTOM). URL of the Process Engine Web Services (PEWS) wsdl (ProcessEngineWS).

Use SSL. Select if using SSL protocol (https).

Test Definition Page

Resource Name. The name of the Monitor Resource associated with the Test.

Test Description. Text automatically generated from your selections.

Expected Response. The expected response for this Test. (Limited to 255 characters.)

Turn On Debug Messages. Enable to generate debug level messages during Test execution.

Output Metric(s). (Optional) Select a Metric to evaluate and track Test results.

Run the Test. Add the Test. Adjust the Time Out value if needed. Click Next.
