IBM FileNet P8 Content Engine Performance Component

The IBM FileNet P8 Content Engine Performance component enables you to test the IBM FileNet P8 Content Engine Performance.

Test Content Engine Performance

Settings Page

Select what to test. Select the type of Content Engine Performance Test:

  • Check FileNet Content Engine Login
  • Check FileNet Content Engine Create Folder
  • Check FileNet Content Engine Create Document
  • Check FileNet Content Engine Document Check Out
  • Check FileNet Content Engine Document Retrieval
  • Check FileNet Content Engine Document Check In
  • Check FileNet Content Engine Delete Document
  • Check FileNet Content Engine Delete Folder
  • Check FileNet Content Engine Query
  • Check FileNet Content Engine Retrieve Existing Document by Name
  • Check FileNet Content Engine Retrieve Existing Document by Object ID
  • Check FileNet Content Engine Logoff

Depending on the Test selection, complete the following input:

Column Name. Database column name.

Column Data Type. Database column data type – numeric or string.

Column Test. VB .Net expression used for threshold evaluation.

Credentials. Enter the authentication information for the target computer application.

Document. The full path of the document name in the object store.

Folder. The folder path in the object store.

Local File. The full path of the local file name to store.

MIME media type. Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME) type of the local file.

New Folder. The new folder name to be created in the object store.

Object Store. The object store name.

Query. Content Engine SQL query to execute against an object store.

Maximum Rows. The maximum number of rows returned by the Content Engine query. Default is 0 for unlimited rows.

URL. URL of the Content Engine Web Services (CEWS) Message Transmission Optimization Mechanism (MTOM) endpoint (FNCEWS40MTOM).

Test Definition Page

Web Server Performing Test. The name of the Web Server executing the Test.

Resource Name. The name of the Monitor Resource associated with the Test.

Test Description.  Text automatically generated from your selections.

Expected Response. The expected response for this Test. (Limited to 255 characters.)

Turn On Debug Messages. Enable to generate debug level messages during Test execution.

Output Metric(s). (Optional) Select a Metric to evaluate and track Test results.

Run the Test. Add the Test. Adjust the Time Out value if needed. Click Next.
