Managing Monitors

By default, Monitors are set up for Web administration access. If a Monitor has been configured for Web administration, you can perform the following basic Monitor administration and configuration tasks from the Reveille Web interface:

• View the Monitor configuration
• Start a Monitor
• Stop a Monitor
• Edit Monitor settings and notifications

When remote users perform Web administration their start and stop Monitor actions are recorded in the Reveille Admin consoleSystem log.  See Reveille Admin console help for more information.

If a Monitor has been granted access to Web administration, you can start or stop it from the Reveille Web interface.

To start or stop a Monitor from the Reveille Web interface, complete the following steps:

1. Click Administration > Monitors in the Left Navigation Pane. The Monitor Administration page displays.

2. Select the monitor and click:
   • Click to start or stop the monitor.
   • Click to run the monitor immediately.
3. To refresh the page and confirm monitor status, click Refresh near the top right. The page refreshes and current Monitor status displays.
