Groups

What does this do?

The Groups page enables you to organize Monitors into logical clusters. A Monitor Group can include other Monitor Groups.

Monitor Groups should be based on your business organization. For example, you can set them up based on regions, states, or cities. Or, create them based on departments or business areas that reflect your organization.

Using the Groups Manager, you can create new groups, view and edit group properties, and manage group assignments.

When would I use this?

Use the Groups administration page to create and edit groups of Monitors. You can also assign monitors to groups to represent the desired group view.

The purpose of Groups is to manage Monitors in categories that make sense for your organization.

Where do I see a change after using this?

After Groups are created, you will see them under the System Dashboards section.

How do I use this?

You can use either the Reveille Admin console or the Reveille web interface to set permissions.
