Collectors
The System Dashboards: Collectors page enables you to see the status of all the Collectors in the Reveille User Analytics system. Collectors are dynamically added to this page based on Collector traffic.
You can do the following on the System Dashboards: Collectors page:
- Define the Last Packet Activity Threshold Minutes setting, which determines the amount of time to wait before a Collector’s status changes from Green to Red. Click Update after you change this setting to update the information in the Collector list.
For each Collector, the following information is displayed:
- Status. Shows the status of the Collector:
A packet has been received within the Last Packet Activity Threshold.
A packet has not been received within the Last Packet Activity Threshold.
- Collector Type. The type of the Collector: HTTP or TCP.
- Collector Hostname. The DNS Hostname of the Collector.
- Collector Address. The IP address of the Collector.
- Last Packet Activity. The time that the last packet was received from the Collector.
- Start Packet Activity. The time of the first connection from the Collector since the Connector service started.
- Connections. The number of times that the Collector has connected to the Connector. Initially, there will be one connection per send thread, and the additional connections if there are any network issues.
- Packets Today. The number of packets received from the Collector today. The value is reset at midnight.

Click to delete the Collector.
Expand the Collector Status entry to see additional detail:
- Version. The Collector software version level.
- Server. The Reveille User Analytics Server machine name.
- Operating System. The Collector machine operating system.
- Settings File. A listing of the active Collector configuration settings file.
