Maintenance Settings
The Maintenance Settings page enables you to specify the settings for maintaining the Transaction and Packet databases.
Define this general maintenance setting:
Maintenance Interval (Hours). The maintenance interval in hours. Default is 24 hours. The next maintenance time is calculated from the last scheduled maintenance time, and not from the actual last time maintenance ran.
Transaction and Packet Database Settings
Define these settings for the Transaction and Packet Databases:
Last Scheduled Maintenance Time. The scheduled date and time of the last maintenance run.
Days to Keep in Database. Define the keep settings for the following database items:
- User Transaction Data. Enter the number of days to keep user transaction data in the data base. Default is 30 days.
- Saved Reports. Enter the number of days to keep report summary data in the database. Default is 120 days.
- Packet Data. Enter the number of days to keep packet data in the database. Default is 30 days.
- Logging Data. Enter the number of days to keep logging data in the database. Default is 30 days.
Protocol Database Settings
Define these settings for the Protocol Database:
Last Scheduled Maintenance Time. The scheduled date and time of the last maintenance run.
Days to Keep in Database. Define the keep settings for the following database items:
- Message Data. Enter the number of days to keep message data in the database. Default is 3 days.
- Metric Data. Enter the number of days to keep metric data in the database. Default is 10 days.
Save. Click to implement any changes. A confirmation will be shown.
Cancel. Click to reload the page with its original values.
