Monitors
What does this do?
A Monitor (or Bot) is a group of tests for a discrete application component or system making up an overall application system test.
Monitors define the following:
- How Reveille is to test an application or system.
- What constitutes an error in testing.
- How technical support or systems are notified if an error occurs.
When would I use this?
Use monitors to baseline application service levels, gather operating KPIs, and verify proper ECM/CSP application health and performance.
Where do I see a change after using this?
Once a monitor is created, it can be found in the Reveille Admin console and the Reveille Web interface for users with the appropriate permission. It is displayed in the System Dashboards section, and can be administered by authorized users in the Administration section.
How do I use this?
You will need both the Reveille Admin console and the Reveille web interface for monitors.
Use the Reveille Admin console to create new monitors:
You can do everything else with monitors in the Reveille Web interface:
- Managing Monitors (configuration, settings, notifications)
- About the Dashboard Monitors Page (viewing and using monitors)
