Reveille Administration Overview

Reveille administration functions can be found in two places:

  • Reveille Admin console — This Windows-based module lets you perform system administration tasks such as starting and stopping monitors, creating and maintaining monitors, running maintenance checks, and backing up databases. You can also use it to manage Reveille logs and files, back up scheduling, database settings, security settings, shutdown/restart processes, and maintenance. For an overview of this external tool, see Reveille Admin Windows Console Overview.
  • Reveille Web interface — The interface where users will operate Reveille includes an Adminstration section after Dashboards and Reports. This section enables you to finish configuring Remote Servers, Monitors, and Groups.

You can perform many tasks in both the Reveille Admin console and the Reveille Web interface in the Administration section. Stay in the Reveille Admin console for the following server operations:

  • Creating new monitors
  • Creating new groups
  • Configuring a master server on a remote server

NOTE: See Reveille User Analytics Overview for help using or administering that portion of Reveille.

The Administration section in the Reveille Web interface includes the following:
